Mission

We commonly see cracks in alloy wheels, often due to a heavy impact on the wheel from poor road surfaces. If left, cracks can worsen, leading to pressure loss from tyres, weakness to the whole alloy, and complete deterioration until the wheel is non functional.

Welding cracks instead of replacing wheels where possible is much cheaper, quicker, and more eco friendly. Cracks are repaired using industry standard welding equipment to bring the damaged section back together and create a seal over the area.

Screwing Car Wheel

Poor road surfaces can also cause alloy wheels to buckle, leading to air leaking from tyres and changes to car handling, often noticed by vibrations form the buckled wheel. Buckled wheels need to be corrected as they can result in a tyre blowout and an unstable vehicle.

Unfixed buckles can also cause damage to vehicle suspension and other components.

Fixing buckled wheels involves straightening the alloy by heating and reforming the alloy into the correct shape using hydraulic machinery.

All our welding & straightening jobs include wheel and tyre removal, wheel balancing, tyre fitting, and fitting wheel back onto car as standard.
